⭐ 1/5 — If I could give 0 stars, I would. TERRIBLE customer service. From the moment we walked in, the attitude was rude, unpleasant, and completely unprofessional. They don’t even greet you and make you feel like you’re bothering them just by asking questions about a service. The worst part was telling my 9-year-old daughter that her hair was “ugly.” What kind of adult thinks it’s appropriate to say something like that to a CHILD? Completely disrespectful and unacceptable. I simply asked for a wash and three colored braids, with NO heat, and they still insisted that her hair HAD to be blow-dried even after I clearly said no. Horrible experience from beginning to end. Zero professionalism, respect, or basic customer service. I will NEVER come back and absolutely DO NOT recommend this place.

I want to so many salons. No one cut my hair exactly how I wanted it until I came to the salon. I will never let anyone cut my hair again, besides the owner of this salon.!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I found Jasmin on Facebook and booked my first hair appointment with her, which went fine — no deposit was required since it was same-day service, and she directed me to go to the salong that she works, Beauty's Truly Yours Hair Salon in Wyandanch. A month later, I scheduled a second appointment, and she asked me to send a $50 deposit via Zelle -- to another person’s account (not her own) since I was scheduling days in advance. I asked her if I should send it to the salon and she said no since I am her client. I asker her if the salon owner would have issues with this, and she confirmed it should go to this other person's account and there will be no issue with the salon owner. On the day of the second appointment, Jasmin canceled because another client was late (although I gave a deposit, Jasmin took A late client that requested BOX BRAIDS). Jasmin sent a message to me apologizing that she had to reschedule and said she would refund my deposit “as soon as she could,” but despite multiple polite follow-ups and her repeated assurances, she never returned the money. When I called the salon, the owner said they don’t take deposits through the shop, even though Jasmin told me to come there for the appointment. I provided screenshots showing our messages and proof of payment, but the owner refused to help, hung up on me, and sent me to voicemail when I called back. Unprofessional from start to finish. Jasmin never refunded my deposit, and the salon took no responsibility even though she directed me there. Be very cautious with this salon and Jasmin. I didn't heed the warnings of the terrible reviews and now I am out of $50. Unfortunately, there is nothing impressive about the salon itself either - the environment and professionalism both felll far below what you'd expect from a legitimate beauty business. RUN...DON'T WALK...AWAY FROM THIS SALON AND STYLIST.
